This was purchased as a teacher’s gift for a teacher who has a library in her own classroom. This lady loved books so much that I thought her first grade class would enjoy having this in their collection. I purchased a few, tied them together and she was so greatful, considering she bought most of the books she owns herself. It was a win-win. My daughter got to read more, and she saved money!, I did ask her which books she did NOT have but wanted. I didn’t want duplicates and wanted her to have stuff off her wishlist. 🙂

I discovered Junie B. books when I was teaching in elementary school and I’ve read every one in the series. The latest ones I sat in my public library to read and laugh out loud at her current antics. This book and 3 othersI bought to give to a student I am mentoring because he listed Junie B. Jones as one of his favorite books. Of course I had to carefully reread them before wrapping them. I plan to get a full set for myself.

I have read the Junie B Jones series to several children over the years, and this title is my favorite one. Junie B makes me laugh so hard. If you haven’t read them, grab a kid and do yourself a favor: READ them in order. I doubt there are many people out there who would regret spending the time it takes to read one of these books from Barbara Parks.
